The Bread of Life (BOL) food pantry is the only regularly available food source, without charge, to hungry people in Wood County that has no geographical requirements for recipients (such as living in Mineola ISD). They usually distribute food on the 1st and 3rd Tuesdays from 1:00-4:00PM at 1001 E. McDonald, Mineola, TX 75773, but are open by appointment only at this time. Bread of Life has no governmental, religious, or private institution sponsors. They depend on donations and income raised from the fundraising breakfasts hosted by various local churches. BOL has no paid employees and $1.00 can pay for 3 meals. If you'd like to donate to BOL you can write your check to Bread of Life and mail it to Bread of Life, PO Box 196, Mineola, TX 75773.
