SERVING oRPHANAGES IN COAHUILA, mEXICO

Orphans

Each December, First Baptist Church Mineola and Hainesville Baptist Church are blessed with the opportunity to serve Casa Hogar Bethesda, Children’s Home Ambassadors for Christ and Rainbow Ministries, all orphanages in Coahuila, Mexico. FBC Mineola has been involved in ministering to these orphanages for over 20 years, HBC has partnered with us for the last 5 years. When the ministry began, the church delivered toys to the children each Christmas. Due to fears of drug-related violence, many churches have pulled their support in the area, leaving the orphanages with many needs. We are now focusing our support on providing tangible needs for the orphanages.

Our Prayer

Father, thank you for adopting me and sending Jesus to open the door of your home for me. I ask that you would open my eyes to the desperate needs of these children, that you would give me a personal sense of responsibility to be a “defender” and a “provider”.  I pray for my church, that we would walk in obedience to your word through this mission. I thank you for the caretakers of these children, and I thank you for the opportunity to serve your people.
